Project W is a national initiative dedicated to advancing the conversation around women
and money in India.
Over the past two decades, India has made significant progress in women’s education,
workforce participation, and entrepreneurship. Yet a meaningful gap continues to exist when
it comes to financial ownership, confidence, and decision-making. This gap cuts across
income levels, geographies, and life stages.
At MahaMoney, we believe this challenge is not only about access or financial literacy. It is
also shaped by silence around money, a lack of visible role models, and limited spaces
where women can openly discuss financial decisions, risks, and aspirations.
Project W was created to change that.
Designed as a long-term platform rather than a one-time campaign, Project W aims to
normalize conversations around women and money, amplify real stories, and encourage
greater participation of women in India’s formal financial ecosystem.
The Project W Podcast is a long-form conversational series featuring accomplished women
sharing their personal journeys with money.
This podcast is not designed to offer financial advice. Instead, it aims to build confidence,
encourage curiosity, and motivate women to seek professional guidance and make
informed financial decisions.
